Your formal dining table is a canvas and you are the artist. How does your artwork look? The placemat is one of the main pieces that brings together the color scheme and style on your dining table.

Back in September of 2009, I did a poll to see which color eggs readers prefer. As of today, 73% of readers prefer brown eggs over white eggs. I think I should have a poll asking how many actually buy them. During my recent vacation in Paris, I noticed the markets selling brown eggs and here in the U.S., I usually see more white eggs for sale. So is there a difference? Well, I looked it up and this is what I found out.
Is there a difference between brown eggs and white eggs?
The main difference I have found is in the price which is passed on to you, the consumer. The reason for the higher price is due to the costs of raising the brown egg producing hens, which are larger than the white egg producing hens, so the cost to feed them are higher. Even though farmers can produce a cheaper product with a better margin by raising white egg producing hens, the brown eggs sell well, due to the beliefs of better nutrition. Of course gadgetskitchen.com readers are more informed, so just go for the white eggs my friends and save a cluck... i mean buck.

So to answer the burning question about if brown eggs are more nutritinonal, the answer is a big chicken winged sized no! The color has nothing to do with it, but if you want quality, make sure it is fresh and with time the quality of the egg diminishes. The fresh time span for eggs are 5 weeks so maybe you should be more concerned about that.
