Unless you have a 3000 square foot kitchen in your home, we are only limited to the amount of space for us to keep our cool kitchen gadgets. Now I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, or the folks who created these "cool" kitchen gadgets,or use them and love them, but in my opinion, these gadgets are just hilarious and useless in my book. If you disagree, that is ok, you are free to have an opinion, but just don't mad at me for having one! I am including the links to these products..just in case you wanted to buy them yourself. BANNANA SLICER
O.K. a bannana slicer? I think I will stick with my knife. If you think about it, wouldn't it just take more time to pull the darn thing out, hope that the bannana fits in the tray and then do the slicing action. I would just rather peel the bannana, take my knife and slice away. I just think that this gadget is hilarious and just takes up space. I wonder how someone came up with this idea. Great concept but I am sure it is not for most people. I could be wrong though and this is just my opinion OK!
Now for the Kitchen Freak that wants all the kitchen gadgets- this product is for you. If I saw this at my friend's house, then I know you are a person who loves Kitchen Gadgets- practical, probably not- hilarious... definetly
THE EGG CRACKER
I might get some disagreements with this one, but an egg cracker? C'mon now, do we really need this. The reviews for this product is usually pretty good, but I just can't imagine myself using this.... I am sorry! I understand that it will prevent less mess, less chips and eliminate broken yolks...but can't we learn to do this without this gadget? I guess I am just spoiled and can crack my eggs without a higher percentage of error, but I guess for me, this gadget will not be in my kitchen anytime soon.
THE OCTODOG
This is soooo hilarious! When I first saw this, I had the best internal laugh ever, you know the one that makes you tingle and giggle inside. Maybe you can just have it to get some good laughs... it actually looks like the old "War of the World" spaceships or the "Alien Attack" Aliens. What this gadget does is turn your plain ol' hot dog into an octopus- I have attempted to do the same with a knife and was successful but this gadget automates it for you. Now the product is well made and durable, but the end product itself just looks really funny. I am including a picture below to show you what I mean.

SPAGETTI FORK
WOW- Talk about being lazy... I know gadgets are supposed to improve our lives but twisting our pasta is not THAT tough! Now unless you have dexterity challenges, this gadget is just simply not going to be stocked in my kitchen.
EGG SEPERATOR
OK FOLKS- My last one for now. My tip would be to use your own hands to let the eggs seperate between your fingers. Ok, you have to wash your hands, but shouldn't you do that anyways....especially after handling EGGS?
Well, hope you had a few giggles with these kitchen gadgets that I just find silly. But if they work for you, that is perfectly fine also. Have fun cooking and please share any other funny kitchen gadgets with me that you have seen and/or used in the past.
