You have probably seen the infomercial on T.V. about this cool kitchen gadget called the slap chop. I really like the feature that chops up the fruits and nuts to go on the ice cream. I usually get these at the yogurt shops, but now make them at home with this cool gadget.
It is easy to clean and easy to use. The infomercial shows it all and it is quite accurate about its uses. I am a true believer of using a kitchen knife for all the cutting and chopping, but this gadget just makes it that much more quicker. I especially like how it takes off the garlic skin and the onion skin. I had to get used to it and it is not perfect each time, but it does a great job. Take a look at the infomercial below:
